Mells Park Local Sites

Mells Park is within half an hour’s drive of the beautiful heritage city of Bath and we would more than happy to arrange visits to the city for any members of the party not going out shooting. There are the famous ‘Roman baths’ alongside other historic sites such as the Royal Crescent, the Abbey and the Thermae Baths.

Wells, the smallest city in England, and its stunning cathderal are also within half an hour’s drive and is another wonderful place we could arrange visits to. Wells Cathedral is one of the oldest in Britain and is particularly well known for the carved figures covering the facade and the small street of houses built to accompany it known as ‘Vicar’s Close’.

Other sites in the near vicinity include Longleat House, gardens and safari park. Or Glastonbury, the legendary resting place of King Arthur where you can also see the Abbey ruins and the Tor.
